My dog is friendly but sometimes he becomes aggressive when he sees some dogs and bite me.. he just tries to pull and if we pull him back and say no or accidentally come in the way when he’s barking he’ll bite us
This is redirect biting, he is not biting you accidentally but he is biting out of frustration because he is not able to reach the other dog and you are applying too much tension.
You need to work on these three things:
- Stop nurturing excitement at home, do not give affection whenever he jumps on you or any family member, always meet with calmness.
- Change the position leash from down the neck to top of the neck and keep the leash short and the dog always beside you or behind you.
